Based in Rome, Resrcle is a startup and online platform activating circularity for the fashion and textiles industry. To help them get ready for their official launch event, the Resrcle team sought assistance in their narrative strategy in order to deliver their value propositions with clarity. Additionally, as a tech company, they wanted to ensure that their story arc had a human touch and emotional connection. They wanted each core team member to have a personalized story that connected their personal purpose with the company’s mission. Over a series of sessions, we established these core foundations in their brand story.
Storytelling Coaching
Our goal was to link each team member’s personal purpose with the company’s mission in order for them to become effective brand ambassadors rooted in service and authenticity. We also wanted to ensure that we create a balance of both practical data points and heart-centered stories, because we know that feelings resonate more than facts. Lastly, we wanted to establish consistency in their messaging to make their value proposition crystal clear, allowing Resrcle to attract the right partners, clients, and investors.
Over a series of sessions, we interviewed each team member to learn about their mission, vision, and motivation for joining Resrcle. By being intentional about the questions we asked, we uncovered how all the dots to their past, present, and future led them to the work they are doing today. In the interview, we were careful about respecting each person’s legacy.
After each interview, we provided a document that structured their personal narrative in alignment with their company’s mission. Each team member was welcomed to edit their personal stories to make it fit for them. We also made recommendations as to how each team member’s narrative supported and complimented another’s, giving a full picture of the talent on their team to reinforce their credibility and competencies.
Finally, we edited Resrcle’s existing brand copy to establish consistency in messaging, and made recommendations as to how it would come to life both on the website, and onstage when team members represented the company at industry events.
This support helped the Resrcle team feel confident and ready to share their brand story at their official launch event.
