Delvify is a materials management platform for textiles. Using the power of AI, Delvfiy makes it easier to find and source materials, transforming the way fashion brands and vendors collaborate by connecting product design teams directly with textile suppliers and manufacturers. As a team of tech professionals, Delvify was having challenges articulating their product narrative in an accessible way, and was often getting mistaken for being a marketplace, rather than a collaborative platform that promotes speed & efficiency in production workflow. Their main goal was refining their verbal identity to make it easier to explain their product to investors and clients.
Copywriting & Narrative Strategy
We interviewed key team members on the Delvify team to better understand their goals and needs. We asked them about their paint points and their experiences pitching the product. We also asked what they believed were the best features of their product, and what they believed their clients would find the most useful. We also asked them about how their product facilitates a more responsible supply chain, to ensure that their sustainability statement was achieving its promise with integrity.
Delvify’s original tagline was: “Fashion Tech for Tomorrow, Today”.
By adding just a single word, we helped to optimize the brand story and provided Delvify with a narrative anchor that positions them as a purpose-led company: “Fashion Tech for a BETTER Tomorrow, Today.”
We then used the tagline as the springboard for their brand story, centered on how Delvify defines “BETTER”:
From there, their product’s features and value propositions became clearer, allowing us to write copy for each of their target audiences, offering different story angles for Delvify to appeal to brands, suppliers, and manufacturers.
